Upsilon.com’s policy on all our Internet sites and services is to respect and protect the privacy of our Brothers. Upsilon.com will never disclose any individual information about its Fellows to any third party (including other Brothers), without first receiving that Fellows’ permission.

This policy statement tells you how we collect information from you and how we use it. When we intend to use your personal information, we tell you up front. This way you can decide whether you want to give us the information or not.
We will not gather more data than what we need to perform the business of Upsilon. When you request subscription to the Upsilon List, we ask you for your name and contact information. This information facilitates the security vouching process and first contact communications with the online Fraternity.

If you choose not to provide the personal information we request, you can still visit most of Upsilon’s website, but you may be unable to access certain options, offers and services that involve our interaction with you.

You have to state your wish to have your email address listed in the Net Roster. We have set the default to “NO” when adding your email to the Net Roster.
We store all user information in secure databases protected via a variety of access controls. This data is accessed only for the purposes specified in this privacy statement.

In case you change your mind or some personal information may change, we will endeavor to provide a way to correct, update or remove the personal data you give us.

If for any reason those means are unavailable or inaccessible, you may send updates and corrections about your personal information to the webmaster@upsilon.com or upsilon-list-owner@yahoogroups.com.

We collect no personal information about you when you visit the Upsilon Sigma Phi Website, unless otherwise stated or, unless you choose to provide this information to us. However, we collect and store certain information automatically. The Upsilon Bulletin Board has this clear warning stated.

What we collect and store automatically is: the Internet Protocol (IP) address of the domain from which you access the Internet (i.e. 123.456.789.012) whether yours individually or provided as a proxy by your Internet Service Provider (ISP) the date and time you access our site the pages you view and, the Internet address of the Website from which you linked directly to our site.

We use the summary statistics to help us make our site more useful to visitors, such as assessing what information is of most and least interest to visitors, and for other purposes such as determining the site’s technical design specifications and identifying system performance or problem areas.

This information is NOT shared with anyone beyond the Web Team of Upsilon.com, except when required by Law Enforcement investigation, and is used only as a source of anonymous statistical information.
