The Upsilon Sigma Phi recently celebrated its 100<\/span>th<\/span> year attended by thousands of fellows from all over the world. <\/span>The gains from the past year<\/span> include an issuance of President Rodrigo Duterte of <\/span>Presidential Proclamation <\/span>No. <\/span>539 naming 2018 as \u201cYear for the Celebration of the Centennial Anniversary of Upsilon Sigma Phi\u201d. <\/span>T<\/span>he Fraternity has <\/span>likewise <\/span>obtained <\/span>recognition <\/span>from the National Historical Commission of the Philippines (NHCP) as the oldest Greek-letter society in the Philippines.<\/span><\/p>\n

The challenge for the incoming Board is <\/span>to build on the gains of past generations and <\/span>ensure that the fellowship <\/span>remains <\/span>true to <\/span><\/a>its objective of leaving a significant and positive impact on the nation, the University of the Philippines<\/span>,<\/span> and the fellows.<\/span><\/p>\n
